Outlet and Dragonfly Community Arts invites all youth (and young at heart) to let their creativity shine at the SMC Pride festival’s Youth Space.
Join instructor, Neil Murphy, for drawing, painting, crafting, map-making, and more! We will have all the tools, paints, and supplies so come on out and show us how you are “Free To Be Me!”.
Dragonfly Community Arts is committed to providing 100-percent free arts education and programming to all underrepresented voices wherever it is needed in San Mateo County and beyond.
We accomplish this by partnering with artists and art non-profits to fund new educational art opportunities or help expand already existing art programs in an effort to ensure future success. Learn more at www.dragonflycommunityarts.org.
About Neil Murphy: He’s a local artist with a studio at Art Bias in San Carlos. He uses a variety of media to create art that might include crazy little animals that have trouble ‘fitting in’, or art topics from neuroscience to abstracts that simply have fun with color.
He will be happy to use whatever media Dragonfly Community Arts has on hand. He frequently makes maps that might show a trail to a beautiful place where you are free to be you!
